recent publications

I've been fortunate to be involved in some interesting research. Following are some recent publications.

Shinohara (2021) continues the Disabled Grad Student project. This version, by the way, is more accessible than the copy in the ACM DL (growl!). This paper won an Honorable Mention at CHI 2021.

Le (2021) is a Late-Breaking Work poster at CHI 2021. It describes a framework for mobile apps to self-regulate anxiety. It comes from the excellent Masters work of Trinh Le.

Branch (2021) is a conference paper at Persuasive 2021. It explores perceptions of the ethics of persuasive user interfaces.

Kang (2020) is a conference paper at SIGITE 2020. It describes our integration of data analytics into an undergraduate Information Technology program.

Shinohara (2020) is a conference paper at ASSETS 2020. It is the first paper in a series about the challenges faced by disabled graduate students in computing-intensive disciplines and how they meet these challenges.

Mahapatra (2019) is a conference paper at CHI 2019. It explores the problems novice makers experience.
