Overview

  • fully expand and add functionality to the database schema you created in the assignments Defining an entity and Normalizing your database.
  • If for any reason you would prefer to start over with a different topic, that is fine. But please contact me so that we can set up a 1:1 discussion to talk through your selection.

Details

Your final project should:

  • Incorporate any suggested changes into your existing table structures.
  • Produce a final database schema defining all of your tables.
  • Add enough records to your tables to produce relevant results when running SELECT statements.
  • Write at least five SELECT statement that to demonstrate
    • using wildcards in queries,
    • sorting query results,
    • using a function such as COUNT(),
    • joining across two tables, and
    • joining three tables where one is an associative table
